Michael R. Toner
President

Mike TonerMike Toner is responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s strategic direction. Toner also leads business planning relating to outsourcing services for customer acquisitions, enrollments, billing, the customer call center and collections functions, including systems support. In addition, he is ultimately responsible for business development and implementing new products and services for PPLSolutions.

Toner has more than 30 years’ experience in the electricity and gas energy markets, from both a regulated utility and competitive market perspective. He has experience in various financial disciplines, including corporate forecasting, auditing, accounting and financial planning.


Joseph P. Clifford
Vice President-Business Development

Joseph CliffordJoseph P. Clifford is responsible for the design and implementation of marketing and sales strategies in the regulated and competitive energy markets nationally. He has more than 30 years of experience in the international and national energy industry and has held key leadership and managerial positions in marketing, sales, customer service, engineering and utility operations. Since 1997, he has focused his professional career on the deregulated retail energy industry. Over the past three decades, he has gained extensive marketing and operational experience nationally in the regulated and deregulated electricity industry. He also has a successful track record of providing strategic guidance to PPLSolutions’ clients.


James M. Minneman, PE
Controller

James MinnemanJames M. Minneman is responsible for financial services and business support, which includes pricing, contracts, cost management and legal affairs. Minneman is a professional engineer with more than 30 years’ experience in the energy industry. He has held key positions at PPL Corporation in plant operations, billing operations, business/strategic planning, emergency preparedness, cost management and retail energy competition implementation. He is focused on creating innovative contract structures that enhance the profitability of PPLSolutions’ clients. Minneman is on the board of directors for the North Atlantic Energy Standards Board (NAESB).


Susan Y. Stevens
Director-Customer Care

Susan StevensSusan Y. Stevens is responsible for managing and directing implementation of new client projects/services at the Customer Care Center. In this role, she manages Customer Care Center operations; ensures quality customer care; maintains compliance with regulatory agency regulations as well as client and company policies and procedures; and analyzes operations to ensure effectiveness. Stevens has more than 30 years’ experience in the energy industry. She has held key positions at PPL in customer service, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, training and corporate/strategic planning. She has worked to develop a customer care team that is knowledgeable about the energy business and is customer-focused, helping to give clients a competitive edge in the marketplace.


Roberto Reyes
Director-Operations

Roberto ReyesRoberto I. Reyes is responsible for daily operations, including pre-enrollment tasks, enrollments, usage, billing, reporting, product development and exception processing. Reyes has 18 years of experience in the energy industry, holding key positions at PPL Corporation in Power Plant Engineering, IT Operations, IT Strategic Planning, Project Management, Business Continuity, Billing Operations and Retail Energy Operations. He has extensive experience in the deregulated retail energy industry, having supported both utility and supplier retail operations. Reyes played a key role in the transition of the Pennsylvania electric market to full competition and was an active participant in the development and implementation of the state Electronic Data Interchange guidelines and processes. He has a successful track record supporting retail operations in all active deregulated markets.



Joel Zimmerman
Manager of Information Technology Development

Joel ZimmermanJoel Zimmerman is responsible for the design and implementation of new business applications and the enhancement and maintenance of existing applications. He has more than 27 years of experience in the energy industry. Zimmerman has held key positions at PPL Corporation in electric utilities, energy generation, internal consulting, corporate services and information technology. His leadership, coupled with his IT background, enable PPLSolutions to continue to expand and improve its IT-based services for the benefit of PPLSolutions’ clients and their customers.
